Description
Spherical lenses are the most common part in optics. Lenses are used to bundle, scatter or focus light. One of the surfaces can be convex or concave, i.e. it is a section of a sphere or the imprint of a sphere. As with the first surface, the other surface can be convex or concave or a plano surface can be selected. In other words, a smooth plane. The intended purpose determines which combination the lens should ultimately consist of. Depending on the application, different coatings are used to create the required effect and guarantee the desired accuracy. For the production we have the possibility to offer you a variety of different materials according to your ideas. Optical glasses from Schott, O'Hara or CDGM are frequently used, but we are also familiar with materials such as sapphire glass or quartz glass for more specialized products.
